LEAF SUIT: THREE WAYS

Hi Hi, Happy Monday...This will be the last of the swimwear for 2015.  It's been super duper hot here in LA and this suit is perfect to combat the heat. I've seriously wanted to go to the beach and jump right in.  I scored this banana leaf suit at the beginning of summer for less than 20 dollars.  Crazy...right!  This has to be hands down one of my favorite and budget friendly suits ever.
I love it when you score something so awesome.  I'm all about a deal!

This suit took me awhile to post, only because we all have insecurities about our bodies and I'm not absolutely completely comfortable with mine.  My stomach is my problem area and the one place that I'm really insecure about.   Okay I said it!  I'm really trying though to just embrace my body and feel more comfortable in my own skin and not care how everyone else sees me.  I'm not going to lie I work out a lot and people might say "what are you talking about your body is fine", but still I have insecurities just like everyone.  Posting this post has really giving me more confidence to let go of my fears and just love me and my body.  I really hope that everyone can try to love ourselves and our bodies more and not worry so much about our outer appearance.  I know....it's easier said than done but let's just try, even if it's just for today.

Hope everyone had a fab weekend and stayed cool!  Looks like the weather will be cooling down this week.

FAUX FUR

H&M Coat ( similar )  & Vest  |  Express Jeans   |  Forever 21 Turtleneck   |  Ann Taylor Wedge Boots ( similar ) Here's to Christmas time and what I wore to keep warm since LA took a turn and has been quite chilly. I wore this look twice, once to work on casual Friday and the other for Christmas Eve.  I'm just in love with this faux-fur vest. This look is perfect for when it's cold outside and you're indoors and don't want to wear to much clothing. Throw on a jacket and instantly you're ready for the outdoors.   I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas and is getting ready for the New Year!

WORK WEAR: STRIPE TURTLENECK & BLACK SKIRT

H&M turtleneck  |  Express Skirt  |  Zara Heels  |  TJ Maxx Bag  (all old) Hi Hi Loves, today I'm going to share my thoughts on older clothes or should I say clothes we no longer choose to wear anymore.  Sometimes if not all the time the hardest thing for us to do is to dig into our own closet and find an outfit we love again.  We always forget about the old and move on to the new.  Why, why is it that? We buy so much clothes but we are so quick to throw them away, donate them or just hoard them in our closets and never wear them again.  Moving forward I'm going to find it very difficult but challenging to dig into my own closet and pull out older pieces and rock them.  Most of the time we just like to buy new clothes because it just feels better, looks better, it's easier to create an amazing outfit, that's in our minds of course.  Well, that is not true and I'm sure we have some trending items laying around in...
